The Day Has Come

O My Friend!

The day has come
When rationality is an unknown virtue
When the knowledge is experienced, just by few
When truth is lost in the shadows of lies
And the prejudiced-captive self, cries
Reasons no longer possess the conviction
Morals are vanishing, the nihilistic attrition
When the bleak light of hope is slowly diminishing
Fears and distress, is what we can see

So, I say, My Friend!

That the day has come
When, to save humanity, we must unite
To claim our SELF, exploit the will and might
Hold onto the light of hope, we must see
Beyond our fears and disparity, beyond just “ME”
To make it happen, we must be the change
In pursuit of truth, must surmount the pain
When we seek life, beyond the barriers of our prejudice
Then only living, My Friend, is worth it !!!
